As far as I know there are two GPS chipset manufacturers for products used for PPCs:
- Sirf - the most popular one with OEMs by far
- Evermore - Used only in one serial and usb mouse that I know of
- Other GPS Chipset Manufacturers are listed here

3 These appear to be OEM versions of the Haicom line of GPS receivers. It seems Pharos have repackaged the Haicom models, both CF and mouse, while
Teletype has used the original Haicom designs. Haicom GPSr's are sold separately in Europe but not in the US.
4 Same as Royaltec RGP-2202,  who are the original designers
